5 Things I Did That Were Frugal This Week

1. On Sunday we had a rotisserie chicken for dinner. So far we have got 2 dinners and 2 lunches for my Husbands from that rotisserie chicken.

2. I sewed my Grandson a car seat poncho using fleece I had leftover from another project. Used up things I already had :)

3. I gave my Nanny kids each a chocolate chip cookie, in a treat bag I already had with a pencil I already had for Valentines Day. Used up items I had leftover from my own kids Valentine’s  Parties. Also equals free gifts :)

4. I worked an extra half hour this week. Not a ton of money made by doing this but any extra helps

5. Used an empty pita bread bag that has a ziplock on it to store my washed lettuce in. Saved me from using a brand new zip lock baggie

5 Things I Did That Were Frugal This Week

1. Since it is pretty cold here we have made use of our treadmill we bought a few years ago for $20, this saves us money on a gym membership.

2. I sold 1 item on eBay this week. I have a plan to save my eBay earnings this year to put towards my Christmas sinking fund. When that gets full I will have to reavalueate where the money needs to go

3. I stuck to the menu plan and even have a few dinners to carry over into February, thanks to leftovers

4. No eating out this week even though there were several days I really wanted too :(

5. Today I combined earrands even though it was freezing outside. This helped to save on time and gas
