We Sold Our House And Bought a New One

Wow I have not posted in a while! We are stuck in limbo at the moment waiting for the school year to end and for the closing on both of our houses.

We sold our current house 9 days after it went on the market. We are slowly selling donating and generally getting rid of items we don't want any longer and won't use in the new house.

Over Spring Break we spent 3 days house hunting in our new city.  On the third day we found a house we love!

So that this is where we are now waiting in limbo to move.

I hope to be back to regular posting in June after the move is complete!

Hope everyone is doing well!

  4. That was fast! Getting your house sold after 9 days is quite a feat, since a lot of people normally struggle to even get their houses into the market. Purchasing a house is a daunting task, so I understand the hesitation. You didn't seem to have that problem though, especially since you've been able to buy a new house, as well. It seems you've got a lot of good things working for you, Melissa! Cheers!

  5. Selling your house can be such an arduous process. You were lucky to sell yours quickly. My house was on the market for many months but at least once it sold I was completely ready to move. I always find moving to be more exciting than stressful; getting to make a new house into a home is a wonderful experience.

  6. Congratulations! Selling a house within nine days? That is wonderful. I know of people who struggle to sell their homes for years. Before you move to your next house, be sure to have a foolproof plan. Many people find moving a very challenging undertaking. Keep up the good work!

  7. Real estate is fun when things fall into place so quickly! Congrats on finding a home and selling yours so fast! Try not to stress out too much and the moving process can be stressful. I would suggest hiring a reputable moving company; it can be well worth the money to have help.
