1. One of the days I worked this week, I ate lunch at work for free :)
2. I had 2 stay at home days
3. I cleaned the bathroom using homemade cleaner
4. I planned our menu for the whole month of February. Now I just need to do the grocery shopping
5. Cooked our meals and we ate at home
I can't get over how you can plan out a whole month of meals.. that's just awesome to me!! I find it hard enough doing a week.. haha! *blush* Great job this week with your savings!
ReplyDeleteWhen I started out meal planning I just did a week at a time. Then a I moved up to planning two weeks at a time and went from there :) You could do it Carla, I know cause I read your blog too lol :)!
DeleteI do mine two weeks at a time but my goal is to get to a month like you. This month we are on a "no send out for anything diet" so everything is coming from home from lunches to juice and everything else. Yes I will miss sending out twice a month but with 6 ppl this will save us about 80.00 which can go to something else.
ReplyDeleteJean, I have a post on here somewhere about it I think. Basically it is any citrus peels ( mine are grapefruit) soaked in vinager for about a month. Strain off the liqiud and use it in a spray bottle. Some people dilute it with water, some people don't.
